Our journey began humbly and was far from easy. MUSA’s story is one of overcoming challenges when everything turns upside down.

the first idea
The brand was created out of the need for a glitter that is easier to apply.
Rita Dobrões, the CEO of Musa Glitter wrote: “I always used glitter on my eyes and all the girls came to me asking where that shine was from. When they discovered it was loose glitter they always said it was too difficult to apply."
After two years of developing the formula, in 2018 MUSA Glitter became the 1st company to create a formula called Creamy Glitter.

We became one of the most popular beauty brands in Portugal.
Our brand appeared in one of the most renowned magazines.

2021
we went viral
We launched a new product, Glitter Spray, which went viral on TikTok with million & million of views in different videos.

2022
creative communication
Everyone loved our products and disruptive communication - even celebrity makeup artists like Gabrielle Red, Victoria Lyn, and many more.

2023
our products hit retail stores
We launch our first glitter lip products and we entered retail stores.

2024
new rebranding
We received terrible news—due to the ban on microplastics, we had to stop selling our main product and rebranded the brand.
